Reporting to the Market Manager, Public Utility, Pumping and Treatment, this Head Office position encompasses marketing and sales support of ITT WWW products and services in the treatment market.
The two pronged mission is to develop, provide marketing support and advance the sales of the W&WW products and services offered through ITT Sanitaire, Leopold and Wedeco, as well as to aggressively accelerate the N pump integration, complemented by our Clients PC pump offering, into the Municipal Sludge Market through Flygt's direct and distribution sales network.
Candidate must have a strong technical knowledge in the area of sludge pumping and centrifugal pumps (preferably submersible) as well as a good general knowledge of W&WW treatment processes.
A minimum of five years of treatment plant experience with operations of and/or sales & marketing products and services to the W&WW industry is required.
Inspired and informed business leadership will enable you to cost effectively:
Coordinate and actively participating in the development and implementation of strategies and sales tools required to accelerate growth in the W&WW market;
Identify and prioritize market specific requirements to gain acceptance of the N pump solution in lieu of conventionally accepted PD pumps as appropriate;
Deliver technical presentations to large groups at exhibitions and conferences;
Drive the sludge pumping business towards the regional targets;
Participate in and coordinate product, application and marketing support to local sales managers;
Summarize forecasts for and follow up on the development of projects and report on progress;
Support and coordinate all local training and marketing activities.
This position will appeal to the graduate engineer with a proven track record in the industry who has demonstrated success motivating/supporting both direct and indirect sales professionals. Your ability to competently present key product and application advantages to both engineers and plant level maintenance staff complements your strong communication & interpersonal skills and passion for quality and customer satisfaction.
